The terms that apply when you use this website or engage us for work.
1. About these terms
This website, starzprojects.co.uk, is operated by Starz Projects Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
2. Our services
We provide custom software and development services — including website design and redesign, AI agents and automation, custom web systems, and integrations. The content on this site (service descriptions and demonstrations) is for general information. It is not a quote or a binding offer; firm pricing is given in a written proposal after a scoping discussion.
3. Quotes, fees & payment
Each engagement is agreed in a separate written proposal or statement of work that sets out scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. Unless that proposal says otherwise:
quotes are valid for 30 days;
payment terms are 50% to start and 50% on delivery, with invoices due within 14 days;
work begins once any deposit is received.
4. Your responsibilities
To deliver on time we may need timely access, content, credentials, and feedback from you. Delays in providing these may affect the timeline and cost. You confirm that any materials you give us (logos, copy, data) are yours to use and don’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
5. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you, except for any third-party or open-source components (which keep their own licences) and our pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how, which we retain and may reuse. We may showcase the finished work publicly unless we agree otherwise in writing.
6. Warranties & liability
We take pride in our work and will fix defects in our deliverables reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge. Beyond that, the services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the relevant engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Confidentiality
We treat non-public information you share with us as confidential and use it only to deliver the work. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
8. Third-party services
Our work may rely on third-party platforms and APIs (for hosting, payments, messaging, etc.). We are not responsible for outages or changes in those services, though we’ll help you respond to them.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees for work completed up to the termination date.
10. Governing law
These terms and any engagement are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows when. Continued use means you accept the current version.

You do. On full payment you own the deliverables we create for you, and everything is documented and handed over properly: you get the keys and the manual. No hostage-taking.
It depends on scope, so every written proposal sets out a clear timeline before work starts. Along the way we show you progress and take feedback seriously. You're not left in the dark until it's done.
Defects reported within 30 days of delivery are fixed free. It's in our terms, in writing. Beyond that, we hand over with instructions and documentation, and stay available if anything needs fixing or changing.
